Another 6.5 mile run but on new turf. The past few weeks have been nice as I’ve found myself in unfamiliar places that I should’ve frequented some time ago. Last week it was the Guggenheim and today it was Prospect Park. A relatively flat traverse, the park was easy on the knees. Moving along at a less intense pace allowed me to actually take in the sights…I found myself pulling along to the side and snapping off a few photos only to play catchup with the ladies(how touristy I know). So far this has been a very running-filled year with me logging a grand total of 77 miles thus far…not exactly where I want to be but I’m sure the miles will start adding up quite quickly as Berlin approaches. Some serious foundation has been laid for this event and I can’t help but get excited as those ideas become more concrete every day.
